The House

A storied estate.

Founded in 1978 by the Auclair family, Stags' Court farms 38 hectares of volcanic hillside fruit. Three generations have refined a single-vineyard programme that defined modern Napa Cabernet without ever surrendering to it.

★★★★★

"The 2017 Hillside is still my benchmark for what hillside Cabernet can be — restrained, vertical, tense."
